I resent these kind of corporate decisions that have no room to consider their consumers' best interest. They took it off of Steam just before the sale. Then the Steam sale came around and it was on my list of things to purchase, but the product was nowhere to be found. I was a couple of versions behind and wasn't getting Steam notifications of the license changes because I didn't have the newest version. This happened to me with Marvelous Designer and I got screwed. This could mean that if I hold out and something changes with the license I can't retroactively buy the 2021 version. This problem is conflated because I don't know for sure if Adobe will cease sales or change the license to a subscription for 2022. I only say this because I can hold out for another 6 months without it if that means I can buy 2022 perpetual license on Steam. If Steam/Adobe doesn't honor the full one year that would mean that I threw away money that I really didn't have to. I've got it in my cart but this is one reason I'm holding back. Otherwise you wouldn't actually get one year. One year of support infers that you get support from the date of purchase for one (1) year. I'm confused that the Steam page states "You will get free updates on Steam up to the end of 2021" but the official website states that you get one year of support. Steam licenses are perpetual and include updates for one calendar year, are tied to a Steam account, and require the Steam client application to run.' 'Can I still purchase a perpetual Substance Painter or Designer license for Individual from Steam?
